It is not the Conservatives it's the RCMP & CFC according to the thread that got locked yesterday . It is all hearsay at this time . Anyway we don't want this thread locked ( I still have a long way to go to catch Curttons post count here LOL) So stay tuned to the Discussion & Alert thread tomorrow & we should know more
 
hey are still calling people for the sks from SIR thats good news but if i don't get a call i would not be to mad ill just go but something else for that price. now what to do with my ammo if i don't get an sks
 
talked to the guy at the gun counter. He said they got 200 in and are expecting more in. He said that they have 1600 on order and roughly half spoken for. Truth or not i picked up a crate of ammo. Also said that i had mine on hold since may 08 and that i should be pretty close to the top...

if you don't get a rifle you can always sell your ammo on ee for $250 or more

I asked the guy point blank 2 times "your sure you are getting more in" (because of what I have read on her about not getting any in) and he said "yes for sure" - who knows, everyone seems to get different answers from the gun clerks and on the phone.

I cant sell the ammo, still have a "D" to shoot...:D

Only the Pointe Claire store has them. The downtown store dosent. Dont known about the other ones. The Flagship store on the south shore could have some.

I went on a whim the WI store and ask to see some. The guy came out with a 1950 rifle. The gun had a rather beatup stock. The wood on the gas tube looked like someone had let their dog chew on it. Could of made a nice bush gun, ie something you dont mind dragging throught the mud except for the asking price: 259+taxes.

I passed and went down to MEC but kept going to check out the St-Laurent street store before stoping at MEC.


There's a montreal guy on EE thats say he has 30. Asking 260 taxes included.
No shipping if you pick it up yourself. This (I'm guessing) would also give you a chance to look the lot over and pick one you like!

Got it from weimajack off here, $285, all matching, arctic birch, refurb stamp on cover no symbol, no bolt through the pistol grip area, "pea size" star on left side of receiver, ###X'd out stock number, pin for the mag is on the follower...

Now, the waiting begins... I will post pics when it gets here...

Moving Taget update anyone?

Anybody has any new news from them? They were supposed to get the guns pinned over the last weekend and have them shipped this week.
Called today but they are closed, probably in the middle of the snow storm.
