The 760/7600 Club

Missed one I didn't have pic's for. It's a 6mm,identical to second from bottom.
Calibers of these from top are 35 whelen, possibly unfired 35 rem,308w,a model 6 in 308,270w and 257 Roberts 5 diamond.
180th is 30-06. Obviously need to find time for fresh and better pic's!

Some great lookin' pumps. Add me to the choir, my 760 has been good to me for over 30 yrs. Bought it brand new from Sears for $150.00 put a 4 power low profile Redfield on it and been happy ever since. Taken 9 moose, 6 muleys, 2 whitetails, 2 black bears and 2 coyotes. 30-06 puts everything from 55 excelerators to 180 moose busters right where you want 'em. Never had a problem with it. I've shot both moose and deer at 300 yds and hit right where I was aiming, accuracy not a problem like those bolt action guys would like you to believe. It is my go to gun for hunting. For fun and thickstuff tracking
I use my 450 Marlin, very loud and makes big holes! lol

I've often thought about getting one of these as I am a fan of the 870, better IMO than shotguns costing way more. I had a 742 in 30-06 it sucked, but you guys really like your pumps which speaks volumes. Damn another purchase looms.

Yah know as much as I hate Remington products...I'm warning up to these. :)

Detachable mags, iron sights, with optics as an option in a handy package...Hmmm interesting.

Does anyone make one in 6.5x55 swede? :D

Epps will make one in any standard cartridge you want...;)

Just ordered a satin 7600 in .243 Win. Epps had some on reduced pricing. ( about 150.00 under retail at most shops) can't wait to get it home. I might peep it or scope it don't know yet. Might even hunt it a season with stock irons.

Here one in 35 Whelen with an 18.5" bbl that lives here. I have another 7600 35 Whelen w/22" bbl as well.

Those newer high comb stocks are a nice improvement over the older straight comb for scope use.

I put a Williams WGRS on my .243 and took the comb down about a bit. (did not measure, just used a rasp and kept putting the gun to my shoulder) I re stained the rasped area and sealed it with satin varnish. You would not know it was modded. The peep is right where I want it and the little gun points like a wand. Now to work up some loads for it. Looks like my nephew joined the club with Super Cubs whelen!

Thanks to Bob "tikka" I have one coming...NIB 7600 35 Whelen Factory Carbine (Shot Show Special)

Hello Bears:dancingbanana:

Thanks Again Bob!!! Top Shelf Lad too!!!!

I would pick one up if I found a deal and had some cash as long as it was in a cal I could play with or do not already have. 35 would cover that nicely or a 375 Winch.
