Colt M4??

it's restreint or not restreint Colt m4 22lr

Salut Sol,
Wolverine l'ont annoncé comme non-restreint
Reste a attendre qui les recoivent pour etre sur

C'est a suivre

Wolverine stated on their website that they are non-restricted
The only thing we can do is stop speculating and wait that Wolverine actually receive them and then we will know for sure, until then, some should stop making bu**#### up and wait :kickInTheNuts:

I'll wait until I see range reports/reviews before passing judgement BUT if it comes with a 30 rd mag, external controls are identical to an AR (mag release, trigger (of course) t-shaped charging handle, and bolt release .... couldn't care less about the internals) AND a steady stream of mags and spare parts can be supplied by the importer, while the rifle remains non-restricted. Well ....

Let's just say I just can't see how just about any factory on the planet would be able to manufacture these things fast enough just to supply the Canadian market for at least 2 years.

I'll be the 1st one to admit that I generally don't like AR's, don't own one, and have no plans on owning one, but that is mostly because I refuse to go thru the hassle of getting into the restricted game.

Meet all of the above criteria, and I will STRONGLY consider purchasing one, as long as I have the funds available by the time they sell out.

Somehow I have visions of hunting small game with one of these things, probably after I install an airsoft M203 under the barrel simply for the LCF .... :D

I'm with you. AR's strike me as being a tad spendy for range toys, but posing over a dead bunny with one of these with a fake M-203? I am so there :).

There better be a speedloader that works with those mags. 30 rounds of .22LR I imagine would take a while to load and I bet most people would have more than one..

Oh my god, .22lr with a 40mm grenade launcher, I want one. hehehehe:D

Seriously though, 40mm grenade launchers are non-restricted aren't they?

Go here to see some of the things you can shoot out of a 40mm grenade. http://www.inetres.com/gp/military/infantry/grenade/40mm_ammo.html

There must be something we are allowed to shoot out of a 40mm grenade launcher in Canada. Flares, birdshot etc. I'm pretty sure there was a thread on this subject a while ago. I'll have a look for it.

That's really really interesting. I would really like to have a buckshot. If you got a nice cluster of gophers, especially the new born babies. They're so dumb you can get so close to them. it would make my day if it was legal.

I have baught 2 37mm launcher's and they can also fire the same rounds as a 40mm launcher and there not even registered. Questar say's so on there old web site.

How long until this comes up in the inevitable "Best Survival Gun" threads, M4 .22 for small game and Sponge Grenade for bear defense :pirate:

Neat if they do come in unrestricted though, nice option to the 10/22.

#2- It's a solid piece of aluminum that has no sound suppressing attributes. (just being on the end of a barrel, the cops might just say it suppresses. Remember, there are no specifics of how much it has to suppress to be classed as a suppressor. So .00001% of a decibel might be enough.)

The trick is to know how to properly sound test a silencer. Most government agencies don't know to do it properly.

well I put my name on the waiting list today with wolverine, they say it will be under a 1000 dollars and are hoping it will arrive by summer. that's what the nice lady told me on the phone.

I really cant wait for an actual review ! if you look on the American sites they haven't even see one either and are bashing it preatty hard ! so im very curious if it will be worth the wait !

" this thing will sell like hot cakes"
I never bought a hot cake, does that make me a bad person?

Everyone really has to give up on this "it looks like a silencer, I might get arrested" bit. Its not a silencer, or a suppressor. Its a hunk of metal. Some rifles have heavy barrels, that might make them 100000'th of a db quieter than a light profile barrel (though I doubt it, big deal if it does) some .22's are quieter than others, big deal. Whats on the end of this rifle is not designed to suppress the sound of it firing, thus its not a suppressor (I know a pop bottle isn't either, but if you put one on the end of the gun, its for the purpose of suppressing the sound, this is for looks). If we keep asking however, some anti's going to pick up on it, and decide its a good idea if they were banned. Heck, sound is the transmission of waves via the air, technically bedding a rifle stabilizes the barrel possibly making it quieter, who knows.

Just my 2cents.
