I havent checked with Brownells yet ...can we small AR parts springs etc from them?
Still waiting for the transfer. Just looking for accessories..Have you had yours out yet?
I tried to order a factory front sight for $90 and got a letter stating that because it was an "AR" part, my order was denied by customs. I will bring the letter in to work tomorrow, scan it, and post it to prove it.
Yes, you can.
Only upto 100USD and parts which are register with Dept State
I am waiting for few little parts coming from Brownells
WRONG. I ordered a Benelli M4 stock ($150.00) plus other small components, and they sipped it out just fine...my order came out to $250 ish
You can order springs, mags, cleaning stuff, etc, with your order coming out to $500, they'll ship it out just fine.
BUT...you cannot have a "gun-part" (barrel, trigger, etc) exceeding 100USD, THEN you need an export permit.
My order was just factory front sight, which I wouldn't class as a "rifle or barrel", and under $100. Brownell said it would have no trouble, but somewhere in CBSA, there was an issue obviously.
Always best to go to the source instead of asking on the internet. You will get lots of info, 99.99% of which will be incorrect
