223 cases still getting stuck

Hornady Unique Lube looks and smells exactly Mink Oil, which is pretty good stuff on hunting boots. Hornady even lists it as a leather treatment. It isn't the same as Imperial sizing wax, and neither is shoe polish, neutral or otherwise.

I get a couple years out a tin of Imperial Wax, which probably equates to a lifetime for sane people.
If your cases still stick or dent using the Imperial wax it's time to send the dies back to the manufacturer with a half dozen fired cases and let them sort it out. Chamber/die mismatches happen, and not all dents are lube related.
RCBS and Redding have both modified dies for me.

I changed to wax too and it just works so much better. I use a little white graphite for the neck and wax for the full body massage. Stuff shoots real good and the cases feed real nice. Mostly 223 and 30-30 so far but lots of 308 and 30-06 brass prepped to reload shortly

Ok it looks like I am the only one who uses butter flavored Pam here. Spray some on a paper towel then roll your cases on it. Never had a stuck case. In my defence I read here that this could be done and when I first started reloading it is what I had in the house at the time. I haven't as of yet tried anything else.

Tried PAM. I kept licking the cases. - dan

I doubt if the particular lube you are working with is the source of your issue.
If they are getting stuck 8 out of 10, then you likely have bigger issues - perhaps your sizing die needs adjusting or it could also be out of whack...

In any case I would first see if FL sizing works - no need to overwork your brass if you don't have too...
I've used the Lyman spray, Dillon pump, and a host of others. These days I use a couple of cookie sheets to layout the brass on and spray them down.

Oil dents are caused by too much lube.

I've been using Lee lube for over 25 years and the only stuck case I got was a case that got missed.

I apply it by hand - I wear surgical gloves - and you can size right away or let it dry and then size. Either or is good.

After sizing, I tumble my .308 and .338LM brass to remove the lube, takes 30 - 60 minutes.
