Hornady Unique Lube looks and smells exactly Mink Oil, which is pretty good stuff on hunting boots. Hornady even lists it as a leather treatment. It isn't the same as Imperial sizing wax, and neither is shoe polish, neutral or otherwise.
I get a couple years out a tin of Imperial Wax, which probably equates to a lifetime for sane people.
If your cases still stick or dent using the Imperial wax it's time to send the dies back to the manufacturer with a half dozen fired cases and let them sort it out. Chamber/die mismatches happen, and not all dents are lube related.
RCBS and Redding have both modified dies for me.
