No, if you look in the second scene of the badies in the back of the truck, there are other animals as well.

From the wiki entry:

The manga depicts the characters as different animals according to their nationality as follows:

* American - Rabbit
* Vietnamese - Cat
* French - Pig
* Chinese - Panda
* Japanese - Monkey and Gorilla
* Russian - Bear
* Korean - Dog
* British - Rat
* Australian - Kangaroo and Koala

The depiction of Americans as rabbits is actually a pun on the Japanese word for rabbit. The Japanese word for rabbit is "うさぎ," which can be romanized as "USAGI." USA + GI = USAGI.

Apparently it will be released in the US as Apocalypse Meow.

Looks like you can also read the original comic (manga) at http://www.findmanga.com/readmanga/Apocalypse_Meow although its annoyingly slow.

So Im guessing the Canadians will be Beavers?... or Moose? lol... I would LOVE to see a Moose running around with a C9....

Comic Series Apocalyse Meow.

For those who would like to read the Comic series, makes for good reading, reminds me of a Tv series : Tour of Duty.

Maybe this show will redeem Japan for "Strike Witches".

Well, maybe not. It was really bad.

But at least the Canadian girl in Strike Witches had a Boys Mk2 anti-tank rifle.

Here we go :D There.. my campaigning for Canadian representation has started...
