+1. Those last to rifles posted by Val and Gommee are pretty damn nice... and yes they're nicer than mine. lol. Good job. Kind of looking to buy a few more... but I think that'll have to wait.

Huh? Better take a closer look at the crates. That light color banding is not caused by them.

Okay- I have actually tried to search for this, but haven't been able to find an answer, but to no avail. I have a 55 or 56 Tula refurb I bought from Frontier (I really like it but haven't had a chance to fire it yet unfortunateley)
My Question: With the 55s and 56s that have the Tula star on the side of the reciever, is there any way to tell the date (i.e., no date on rec. cover)?
My serial number starts with BH40... with an X on the end.

Not exactly. What's the character after the numbers. The X was added later on the Bells. The letter series are reported to end with "K" the A with the cut off top is really a D and it is from 1955

your windage isnt completely mashed to one side..... or did you adjust it before you took pics?
I'll keep my fingers crossed... but the rumour is it will happen to all semiautos, and I have quite a few...
They may get grandfathered to whoever owns them, or reclassified as restricted. I have my RPAL anyway, but hope it won't be the case.
