ok just curious here, can you headspace the bolt/barrel without mounting it in an upper ?? I have never gunsmited or played with uppers much.

maybe ATR should get some high quality bolts in

You dont need an upper to headspace the bolt.

If your proof testing - you usually dont do that in an upper either...

I still think you should contact Colt Canada for barrel blanks.
If I had any useful contact info I would forward it.

Rick is in Arizona for some business. I however saw the full completed works of lowers all packed and on the way to the anno man with the engravings and all. Shouldn't be long now boys and girls. Or just boys, not sure if any females got one.

I went to ATR yesterday about my lower. I heard there was a mistake with some of the logos. The punisher skull didn't turn out right. They don't know if it was a programming error or sabotage. I took a picture of it due to it's uniqueness. For you guys that ordered the punisher skull logo. Here's a sneak peak at the finished product: Sorry it's the beer talking. It makes me think I'm funny.
