Birth of an Irish Contract LE(pic heavy).

Yeah, I personnally stay away from these safe queens. They are investments? sure, likely. But torture at the same time. So I rather stick to ones that I can shoot without making their value go down.

But that's quite a beautiful rifle!!!

I personally don't put a lot of stock in the $$ value of my firearms,I buy them to shoot and enjoy. The real value comes from hearing the stories that people want to tell me when they see this No.4.Like the first deer they took with a sported No.1 or the old gent that lugged a Bren gun from one end of Italy to the other, now thats an investment! Priceless.

The wood on yours is incredible, mine wasn't nearly as nice. Mine looked nice and the metal looked great but the wood looked a little used. Any thoughts?

Did you get yours in the wrap?Mine was free of dents and such as you would imagine but what the pics don't show very well is the dirty hand prints under the fore stock that were evident when I opened it.Must have been made on a Friday afternoon.

Mine wasn't in the wrap and I'm not sure if the guy I bought it from unwrapped it. About the only thing I know about it is that the ser.# fits the Irish contract. and all the # match.
