I think Sean will process big butch instead few at the time. Stayed tuned and practice shooting alphas :)

just wondering,...what if I need an extra banquet ticket or BBQ ticket,...would there also be a deadline for those requirements? (babysitters available,..mood of my wife can mean a change of plans LOL)...

For now, assume that sort of thing can be handled as close out as 2 weeks before, closer in, we'll see what we can do. Both our banquet people and BBQ people have been extra helpful.

Officials Needed

All the officials in RM and CRO position are filled with some really great people.

I have ROs from BC, NS and NB all lined up so far, and there's 5 slots left.

If you carry an IPSC RO or higher rank, you're welcome to apply to be an RO at this year's nationals.

Here's what we'll expect of you:
Perform Range Officer duties on one of 8 ranges during the main match, working from range opening to range closing Thursday, July 30, Friday July 31and Saturday August 1.

Shoot the entire match Wednesday, July 29th. If you cannot finish that day, make up the stages throughout the main match.

Here's what we'll do in return:
Waive match fees.
Provide lunch at the range.
Provide half of double room accommodation at the match hotel. (Ie cover half your bill if you're alone)
Cover your BBQ and Banquet Entry.

Misc. Information:
Every range will be staffed with two (2) range officers and a Chief Range Officer. Squads will be required to patch and help reset the stages.
If you have more questions, email me – schansen@eastlink.ca
Don't delay, we put out the call for officials in NS two weeks ago, and nationally a week ago - these positions are filling fast so let me know ASAP.
As soon as the roster is full, I’ll spread out the names and people can choose roommates at the hotel and / or let me know their hotel requirements.
If you're on a provincial team, ineligible as you have to shoot during the team slots.
It would be nice to see a nice spread of officials from across the country.

As if your wife is going to want to stand around and listen to you talk shooting and gun related topics at the BBQ or Banquet...my money is on her heading into the city for shopping, shopping and maybe a bit of shopping. :dancingbanana:

Just curious about the invitations needed to travel with firearms. Is there plans to post one on the web site, or will they be e-mailed with our confirmation?

Invitations will be posted on the web this weekend.

Here's the Official Nationals Logo, BTW...

Yes, and you get to play the role of "Cabin Boy in the Barrel".

I think I'll stay ashore.

Ok, so I finally caught up this weekend...

Everyone that provided a legible email address on thier entry form have been emailed and confirmed entered. I should be able to keep up with it for now on.

The Webmaster has the invite letter for downloading; expect it to be up in a day or so along with a list of who is registered so far - if confirmation is needed (by the guys that I could not read thier email address...:))

We're at 25 for the 3 Gun - the limit that we can handle is 40.
If you're interested in shooting it; you should get your entry in soon.

Lots of room in the pistol match, though - but more than a month to go for you to enter if you haven't got around to it yet.

I just got my confirmation as well. I've never been that far east in Canada, and I'm looking forward to a couple extra days to sightsee and have a few adventures. Anyone from the host province have some recommendations for a thrill seeker? :dancingbanana:

The para-gliding looks fun, and the tidal bore rides look interesting. Anyone have experiences with these?

.

fyi,..the NB provincials the weekend just before the Nationals...George should be around soon,..so try the NB IPSC website for info.

I have to find a way to fit this in to my schedule!

I have never completed 2 Level III matches in one week.........that would be a riot.

Add the 3 gun match on top.............wow!

I had better get loading.
