gevarm e1 .22

I was in on the buy for new 20 rounders the last time & got a couple of 20s- I wrote a test report on them which I can't find now. They were extermely tight fitting but once you got them to line up they were OK.

I also got some 20 round curved metal mags for a ruger - you need an adapter- hoping they could be made to fit the E1- but only discovered that they were identical to the mags used in AR15 .22 conversion kits. the hardest part is to alter the feed lip geometry to match the gevarm- especially since the left lip acts as an ejector- but with filing and bending I'm sure these could be adapted.

Interesting... I thought mine was an A6, but I just tore it all down to give it it's by annual once over (lol) and saw that it clearly says AR on it... I don't recall that designation. Moreover, mine is a 10 shot clip, not 8. Unfortunately, my digital cam isn't the greatest, but here goes:

So with all that's been said here, what would say a....2x10-shot and 1x20-shot Gevarm lot of mags be worth?

they'll be between the ones from 2005 and 2007; if that helps you... ;)

Thanks SNIPER, :kickInTheNuts:with your assistance I found them,, but no help, dead end. Any other leads? My 20 rounder looks rough, groove in the front looks like it was done by me,, with a nail file, BUT it works!

Has anyone got the ventini .22 rifle, which is a copy of the gevarm that was made in argentina? The mags interchange with the gevarm.....

I have the Venturini 22cal. Largo. I just love that rifle. I bought it back in the 70's to use on coyotes. Totally trustworthy, never failed me yet. I keep it in mint condition. I had two 10 round mags at one time but I lost one and would love to find one at any cost. The Gevarm mags. will fit just fine.

My venturini .22 uses gevarm 8rd and 20 rd magazines without any problems, as it is a copy of the gevarm E1 and E2 export model. I tried to get a magazine manufacturer who makes magazines for the us military to make gevarm magazines, but they have no interest. I bought the magazines from gevarmoise before they closed down. All the 20 round factory magazines have to be "fitted" to the E2 export models. What company makes copies of these????

Yeah, here I am doing a happy dance around the house, and my wife is looking at me like I have 3 heads. When I calm down enough to explain it... She still is looking at me like I have 3 heads. Chicks just don't understand.

I have a full stock model identical to Sniper-T's except with target sights. The mags for these ( 10 rounds) are not compatible with the E1 takedown models. I was advised you would have to open up the full-stock model's magwell with a file for it to accept the E1's 8 and 20 round magazines. So I suspect these 10 round mags are even scarcer than the 8's and 20s used by the E1.
