If you have an RPAL, I can't imagine how you didn't know about this
By looking at his other posts I do not believe he has a RPAL or PAL, and is only just getting his feet wet.
There's only one way to learn, and thats to read a lot and ask questions.![]()
Even if it's legal to use a 9mm pistol to go hunting, why would you do it? Hehehe... Unless you're some insane sharp shooter, it's going to be mighty hard to hit your game in the right spot.
BTW, here's a noob question from me. Is there any AR15 variant that is actually non-restricted?
Sounds like FUDD talk to me. There are lots of guys hunting deer and big game in the states out to 150 yards with no problem. Get a decent 500 S&W magnum with the right scope, its no trouble at all.
I think there is a few designs, but they are not really anything like an AR15. I can't quite remember though
Dude, I'm just talking about the basic 9mm. Who would really hunt deer with those?
So a 9mm will kill a person but you don't think it would kill a deer? The difference would be what? I'm not talking long range here. Consider the distances that bowhunters are taking deer at, now what would be the difference between that and a 9mm?
How many of those humans are dead instantly? Probably not to many.
I think the difference is that a person cant run 5 miles in the time it takes to die from the wound of an underpowered cartridge a deer can.

Judging from the skill of the average shooter I see at the range, the targets shot by 9mm pistol shooters at 20 yards are peppered with patterns that look more like they were from a shotgun with 00 buck whereas the average rifle shooters get two-inch groups at 100 yards.
