I recently picked up a Winchester Model 94 CANADIAN PACIFIC CENTENNIAL to sell for a friend. The rifle complete with display case had been stored in a damp basement for several weeks.
The side of the rifle that was against the material has considerable damage. The receiver, lever and barrel all have rust on them. Does anyone have any ideas on saving this piece. It has been striped and cleaned and oiled. The bill of sale from 1982 says the rifle cost Two Thousand dollars. I would ask that anyone replying please refrain from commenting on the wisdom of the owner. I would also appreciate any ideas.
Thanks
