Sponsors aren't infallible, most have good reputations, but this is a public forum and people's opinions will be voiced.

CanAm is a site sponsor, and more than a few individuals have complained, sponsorship doesn't buy censorship.

So would one being a Performance Center model make a difference in pricing? From what I can see one is a regular version and the other is a Performance Center version.

Hmm. So you got carried away (your words) in your criticism of a sponsor: "rip off" and you question his honesty and integrity: "People should be able to consider a site sponsor to be someone who is honest and fair to deal with."
Then you admitted it and apologized, and now you're defending your words? Have I got that about right?

Gunnar is a businessman and he prices his merchandise according to what he thinks the market will bear. If you find the price too high, take your business elsewhere. No one's ripping anybody off - it's called supply and demand. I must say, however, that I often find myself cringing when reading gunnar's....overly optimistic descriptions of some of the items he has for sale. No one can put a brave face on a beat up colt slide/norinco frame frankengun like this guy.

It was an fyi on the price of two guns.
One used one new.
It might mean that someone in the market for that gun gets a better deal on the used one or a new one for the same price as used.

Will send ya three cents in the mail.

Hmmmm, I've delt with gunnar in the past......

IMHO If I had to choose a brand spanking new gun from somewhere else, or a "slightly loved" tuned and rebuilt gun of the same model & the same price from Gunnar....... I'd buy from Gunnar every time. The guy is a wizard with pistols! IMHO when Gunnar says it's tuned and guarenteed to "feed anything" for one year parts & labour...... its a no brainer! He actually means it!

Thanks for the $.02.
The ad that is posted on his site did not state that the gun was tuned and rebuilt. If it was it would be a case (or crate:D) of apples and oranges.
I was just making an observation on the price of two guns.

I may be wrong but everything that i have bought that was in gunnar's hands has been tuned and thought that was the standard .
