Anyone willing to reload .223 in Southern Ontario?

Somebody is giving you a story that you shouldn't believe.
My reloads run 27 cents apiece at today's prices for components.
17 cents for bullet
3 cents for primer
7 cents for powder

brass is usable almost forever in 223 so add one cent if you wish.

Extremely helpful info, thanks! Where do you buy your supplies?

get a copy of the abcs of reloading/read it cover to cover a few times,go to the EE then get single stage press along with all the other items you read in the manual you will need..
then send me a pm,i,ll donate the first 100 bullets and primers that you will need;)

Rob your best bet would be the site sponsors Ms Drew sells alot of stuff even try epps they got alot of thing . Thats the two places i went to when i started to reload

And when you get familiar with reloading, you can cut cost even more by using things like surplus powder from Higginsons. Their WC-735 powder is ideal for 223 and costs $119 for 7 lbs.

The most expensive component will always be the bullet.

These days with supply being the way it is, any where I can find them.

Bullets are generally bulk Winchester or Remington, usually Whoresale Sports, Calgary, Edmonton, Lethbridge or Russell's in Calgary.
And don't let anyone tell you that you cannot shoot groups of .3" with bulk bullets.

Small rifle primers, good luck!!! Fortunately I stocked up 3 years ago but now I'm down to 7000 so it's time to start looking again.

Powder that I use in my 223's is IMR4198. It seems to be quite readily available almost anywhere. Going price is around $30-33/lb. Eight pound cans are less expensive.
