Yes I got to R/O that one............

Let's say that some of the approaches were........interesting to say the least.

I hope someone got that stage on video.

I will be emailing off the results shortly.

7.62 I love the way you clear your jams!

Not to mention you sound like you are dying on "any port in a storm". Mind you your kicked ass on that stage.

It was great 2 days weather was good, set up and tear down went well I think everyone had a good time.Could not ask for more other than there no 3 gun matches coming around this part of the province.Guess I will have to go USA to fill in my addiction. Thanks to the ESSA crew for great job.

Thanks Stormbringer and the whole crew at EESA, It was an absolute blast, could not have asked for a better set up.

however my shoulder may not feel the same way towards you, lol, but it was worth it

I have been informed of a problem with the Server at ipsc Ontario which will result in a slight delay in getting the match results posted.

Please be patient while this is sorted out.

With that Knoxx Stock, you really have to pound the stock, to get those pesky jams out, LOL.

I think a little part of me did die on that stage, just haven't figured out which part yet, my elbow is friggen sore, I can say that much. Didn't leave nearly as much blood behind though, compared to the rifle match. Aren't we going to be hanging upside down off a trapeze for the handgun portion?

Tritium,

I was using Kent #8's for shot, light loads, 1330 fps, and we have been using (EESA'ers, special thanks to John M) the S&B Special Slug Sport, again, very light load, for a slug. The stock does it's job, not much muzzle rise, and I would bet the stock moves 1/2", on it's tracks.

However, I have used that stock with some heavier recoiling slugs and Buckshot, where the stock, bottomed out, then shot again, and the recoiling dampening, was nullified, almost giving you a second, heavier hit.

With this stock, if you don't have your face firmly planted on it, it will give you quite a smack. But if you pretension with your off hand, keeping the gun firmly in your shoulder pocket, and face planted on the stock, it works as advertised, straight back recoil, very little muzzle rise, and soft shooting.

Hey 7.62,

You're a shotgunner and you can trip the gun fast, did you find that the Knoxx would "bottom out" (springs were unable to uncoil) and not soak up any recoil while shooting at speed?

Trit

Darn you and 7.62 Storm. I watched every time on slip slidin and you two got me.I had hoped to do better for match but it was great fun anyway. For the tournament results will you be seperating the scores in handgun between those who shot it all and those who only shot handgun?

I would have liked to have been able to video the guys that were using the full chokes in their guns, our friggen poppers would "Jump Up" like a foot, after being hit. What advantage, if any, do you perceive, for using a full choke at 25 yards and closer? Or do you not know any better, or, do I not know any better.

Personally, shooting number 8's at a 20 yard popper, IC Choke, has no problem knocking it down, with authority, it you centre the popper in the pattern. What is the advantage of using a full choke then. Saw a number of guys using full chokes, why?

Full chokes, have, in my experience, patterned poorly with lead slugs, why not use a more open choke. Maybe I am missing something?

Yes Again a big thank you to all that came out. And i would like to say sorry again for being a little grumpy after lunch.A big thank you to all that helped me patch and reset on my range. And thank you to John for taking over my range so i could finish the shoot. I would like to say i got the rabbit but dropped a round so ran dry and got a miss and a fts.LOL but i had a good time just getting to shoot

You had every right to be a little "grumpy". I thought you took it very well considering the lack of help from the "audience". I told you we would help when we came out, and I think our squad did a very good job taking up the slack. I was with a great squad. Thanks guys.:D

If anyone got grumpy, I think Storm won that title. It's okay, I seem to have that effect on some people. LOL!!! Storm came through at the end and saved the day by helping for the last stage. Thanks Storm. Great match and a big thanks to you and all the RO's and helpers at the match. I have owned a shotgun for almost a month, so I was a "shotgun virgin", and you made it a great match to get my feet wet in 3-gunning. Just last month I was a "rifle virgin" too!!

I feel like such a slut now.

Yes thank you 40cal and to all in your great squad you all did a great job and brought me back around. Glad you had a good match and glad I was part of it
