That thread on Coyote fur got me thinking...
Back a few years ago I made a handwarmer for very very cold conditions, and stand hunting .
Well after plucking 7 big Canada geese, I collected the down, and used coyote where your hands go, very soft , and the warming effect of the down, wow, your hands sweat in extreme cold :D I used a 1/2 piece of webbing strap thru the handwarmer that wraps around your waist, and ties off. Super quiet to get your hands out of the coyote fur, and big enough to keep a call in there so it don't freeze up.... oh , used fleece on the outer shell.
Figured I would pass this on to the do it yourself bunch..

You could probably make some extras and sell them for quite the take, I'm guessing a good pair like the ones you describe could go for at least $75, at least.

How about a pic Levi? Sounds great!

I need to take aloth of pics, of finish on guns, deer and elk horns, and such, will dig it out soon, with all other items, and get some pics.

Heck their was a fella that called bs on my elk cause I said it was in the basement, i said it was a 8x8 , I was wrong its an 8x9:D 388 inches

Their easy as pie, looks like the ones at walmart, but a bit bigger, don't seem bigger though, cause the down , and I put a bunch, kida flattens, gotta fluff it a bit when you first take it out of the hunting gear locker. kinda like a sleeping bag does you know...I just beat it against my leg a few times, and its good for the season.

These days fur on a beaver is harder to find anyway! :D

Oops, that might have been my inside voice :)

On a more serious note...the hand warmer sounds like a very good idea Levi.

LOL, I was hinting on the places:D, but hey , for certain, you will not have cold hands, ever. I was in a tree for 4 hours, at minus 25 c , in strong winds. very high in a softwood, 25 ft maybe , Got a 9 point that day with a recurve of 70 lbs, without handwarmers it would have been much pain:D
It was so cold, when the arrow exited, the blood looked like black seeds on the snow, very odd, pick one up, and it would turn red.
