That thread on Coyote fur got me thinking...
Back a few years ago I made a handwarmer for very very cold conditions, and stand hunting .
Well after plucking 7 big Canada geese, I collected the down, and used coyote where your hands go, very soft , and the warming effect of the down, wow, your hands sweat in extreme cold
I used a 1/2 piece of webbing strap thru the handwarmer that wraps around your waist, and ties off. Super quiet to get your hands out of the coyote fur, and big enough to keep a call in there so it don't freeze up.... oh , used fleece on the outer shell.
Figured I would pass this on to the do it yourself bunch..
