I'm also fully aware modifying a full cap mag to work would be unlawful. Therefore i'm left with trying the stock, no hole AIA magazine.
The magazine needs alteration to work.
what about modifying a nork m-14 magwell to be the same as the IAI magwell?
As long as the magazine is not marked M14/M1A/M305S, and IS marked AIA <riflename> then no issues.
False
No need, the mags work fine as is.
The AIA mags I have are marked only with a serial number in some kind of ink. There is no AIA stamp anywhere on the mag. But AIA mags are physically different as they don't have the hole for the spring guide.
ya, put me down for a half dozen or so
20 rd AIA mags would be awesome.
the maximum capacity is 5 rounds for long guns, 10 rounds for handguns "commonly found in Canada", and 5 rounds for handguns "not commonly found in Canada." Magazines for rimfire cartridges, the 8-round clips used in the M1 Garand, and 10 round Lee Enfield rifle magazines are exempted by name from this prohibition.
