PAL "in progress"

So I'm on my 28th day, did my phone interview a few days ago, had my references call in and my status on the website still says "in progress", so I call in to check on it and the lady says that my application has been completed and sent to my provincial CFO for final approval and should get there in 3-4 days but takes about 4-5 weeks for them to process it 
What a load of crap, right? From what I've read on this thread already some people have their status changed to approved the same day they did their phone interview and had their references called!

Well... I'm from Ontario... you prob read. My interview and references called last Tues or Wed.
Just got the lengendary update I've been waiting for and it happened today!

When should I start calling to harass them?
Just noticed my cheque cleared last night.

Not sure if it matter, but are you in Ontario?
They received your app 9 days after me. So no any time now if everything goes smoothly.
Looks like most people here are getting approved in a timely manner. Well, timely is subjective... within 45-50 days.
Now it's up to Canada Post. So far, they haven't epically failed me yet. Better not be with firearms, especially receiving them in the mail!

Just make sure your references will be in country during this time frame.... I had to resubmit one reference due to my reason , pain in the butt ... now i have to wait all over again.... they seemed very nice about it though under the circumstances so....
I've been waiting 2.5 weeks for my prov CFO to "process" since the CFC transfered it day 28 after the ref. checks... is it wise to give them a shout to see what's going on? Or should I sit tight? I'm in a bit of a dilemma since I need to move soon...

Refrence check's done end of April
Called Miramichi about the end of May said call back in a week
Called June 1st and transferd to B.C. CFO and got runaround
Called june 8th and was told not to call again untill the 26th as the app was emailed to a CFO on April 15th for review... was also informed that all RPAL app's (atleast in BC) are being double checked by a provincial CFO.
So if your on the waiting list in BC i would suggest you call call call untill you get some answers.
