Is there a need for more Cdn made AR parts?

Thought I'd post a pic of one of my lowers. Got them yesterday, and put this one together. Had Rick install the LPK, and cerocoat it in tan.

The lower is terrific. And I think it turned into a pretty nice SBR. Just need a couple more little things and it's probably finished for now.
Hopefully going to get it out on Saturday to put a few rounds through it.

Had it out this morning. Put 50rds through it(was working on some pistol stuff at 25m so just wanted to see if the gun would run).

Worked well, Pmags dropped free, although occasionally the bolt release was a little hard to press. Wasn't paying attention to see if it was with the 20 or 30rd Pmags, or if there was a difference.

The only issue was the trigger pin started walking out of the gun towards the end of 50rds. I didn't notice until i put the gun down after shooting, and decided to park it. Didn't take much to tap it back in, but I might end up looking for KNS Non-rotating Trigger/Hammer Pins to keep things from moving around and f**king up the pin holes.

Don't know if it's an issue with DPMS LPK's, or something that just sometimes happens. But KNS parts should solve the problem.
 
The pins are held in from walking by the trigger or hammer spring. Open the upper from the lower and make sure the springs are engaged in the little grooves in the pins.
This should solve the problem.
I have DPMS LPKS in several of my own lwers and have had no problems, if 1 of your pins does not have the retaining grooves, send it back to me for replacement

In summary, some really nice billet lowers were made. They cost almost 2x as much as most billet lowers in the US, but people seem to not care and will pay it anyway. The consensus seems to be that the quality is excellent.

For the last few weeks people have been posting their pictures, griping, and asking trivial questions that could easily be solved through common sense or google.

Any way, Mark, the upper in the pic above is the one I'll be sending you soon. Hopefully I can get some time to send it out in the next week or 2, but we've got 2 more weeks before the course is over, so we're pretty busy.

If you don't see it before the end of the month, you'll be seeing it very shorty after. :)

Yup 80 pages of which banter has taken up alot of them.
The short version is that now in Canada there is another option for those who desire to have an AR lower that has features that no other lower offers in an alloy (7075 T 751) , though not a big deal to most is harder, stronger and more durable than than the more common 7075 T 651 material.
The lowers are held to a tighter tolerance than most on the market, AND they are 100% Made in Canada, so not subject to the whims of a foreign governments adgenda.

We are also moving into manufacturing other parts as time goes on for the black gun community, stuff that is hard to import now.

Yes these are higher priced lowers but higher quality also. These lowers are also only available in Canada and only in limited quantity, for those who like to have something truly unique.

We are making another limited production run of these lowers, so when all is said and done there will be just over 100 of them in the world.
