Info on 2009 IPSC Nationals

Entry form in the mail today.

So who else is shooting the 3 gun from BC? I'm looking to do a bulk ammo shipment to save us some money. Shipping individually is pricey, but if we can get 10 people together it'll bring the cost down a ton. So who's in? (you don't need to be doing the 3 gun to get in on this).
 
room is booked, flights are holding. if someone could let Jim know that I'll be crashing at his place for a few days after the match (he offered in Bali!). that would be great. I've lost his contact info.
 
Damn you! M-bomber, Lo. and I were crashing at Jimmy's...he doesn't know that yet though...

I'll take the kids out for ice cream and I promise I won't teach them to hurt anyone...much. I'll also TRY not to say the F-word.... much.:redface:

Jimmy, warm up the pool, I like BBQ and I drink Keith's and a good single malt scotch (you choose!).
 
After the match Tritium, even I'm not crazy enough to stay at an MD's place during a match. that would suicidal. I figure he'll be so drunk after the match he won't even notice me.

Not sure how many BC'ers are going, but I've talked to westjet and if we all book together (if you haven't already), we can get a discount if there are 10 or more of us going. I'm willing to handle that if people want to try this. It's insane not to. Currently the cheapest flights are out of Abbotsford. I plan on leaving Tuesday morning at 9am. I'm also still willing to help out with ammo shipping if people care to do that.
 
so far an underwhelming reply to ammo shipping (thanks Marlin). the more the merrier.

I'll be needing shotgun ammo, and possibly a shotgun (prefer semi), as I'm not sure if I can borrow an M4 for this or not.
 
A few updates:

Round counts

Nationals Pistol: +/- 300 (Finalized later this week)

Shotgun (If you are so inclined):
Slugs: 16,
9 pellet (or less) Buck: 8,
Shot (You call - needs to knock over the steel) - 40.

Rifle: (If you are so inclined): 72

Arrangements have been made to bring the electronic stage from the Kingston Nationals (with a lot of modifications like electronic eyes) for a big stage here.

As of this weekend, the 3 gun portion is full. A waiting list will be started. No one will be charged on the waiting list.

Does anyone know if Wolf of Wolf Bullets is away? I have tried to get a hold of him by e-mail to secure my match ammo, but haven't heard back. I realize he maybe busy, or taking holidays before he gets really busy with the Nationals stuff. However, I would like to confirm my order, and get payment to him, before the July 1 deadline.

If someone has any info on his situation, I would apprieciate an update.

An e-mail that I recieved from Wolf says he is using Vitavuouri powders for the match ammo. What would be the most common of these powders for Standard class shooters? I have no experience with this brand of powder and could use some advice.

depends on 9 mm or 40 cal. for 40 most guys use N340. for 9 mm as Quigley said N320.

VV powder is very nice and clean. i t is the second best powder i have found for my super.

hhmmm...most guys around here use 320 for .40 as well (I did when I shot Standard)

If VV is your second favourite...what's number 1??
