Yep.
F-Class is indicated application score shooting, shot from the prone position at distances ranging from 300 yards to 1000M depending on the facilities. It utilizes bipods/front rests and rear bags and a scope.
The targets are circular roundel targets with a bull that is .4-.5MOA depending on distance.
The reality is, a tactical shooter with a top notch rig would do extremely well in a traditional F-Class match, but field-grade actions with factory barrels make very adequate tactical rifles, but may lack the precision to compete against a full-on custom rifle. Magazines - while permitted to be in place - are not used in F-Class, and thus, if a shooter owned only a tactical factory rifle (700P, Tik-Tac, 10FP etc.) they would have to work hard to compete against custom guns.
Opening our doors to those involved in Tactical Shooting using equipment and targets with which they are familiar is just one way i think we can bring all of us together. I have never tried Tactical shooting (as a civilian), but a blind man can see it is very popular and anything to promote inter-disciplinary participation is win-win. I think many tactical shooters could derive a great deal of benefit from the precision technique and equipment used in F-Class.
