this thread has go on long enough " pgw is still in business which was the point of the thread"
now to defend my self
" Itwas made clear to me that the previous person incharge of creating interest and support for the trg did not do his job properly. "
not BS gunstore rumors, beretta replaced nickles with a company they feel can better serve the needs of the police and military.
"the canadian military has this thing that funds being spent for military use needs to be 100% manufactured in canada "
as far as i know thats true as well. though there may be grey areas and details that allow it to be assembled in canada and still meet the standards.
id just like to add that argueing over the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still retarded.
Hane6661,
Time to pull in your horns guy, 'cause you aren't going to win this argument and you aren't going to get out of it without showing your arse.

A valiant effort, I'm sure, however, CGN is a difficult place to attempt to BS on a topic/issue that you don't have the first clue about.

Not only are the guys who own PGW and who built the Timberwolves members of this board, there are others who actually participated in the trials, weapons techs who currently maintain them and guys who helped determine the selection criteria.

As for sourcing 100% Canadian, that is patently false. DND will deal with whatever company can provide the equipment required at the best price, just as long as there is no embargo in place, etc... A for instance is the decision last year to award a contract to provide copies of the Grohmann fixed blade knife to a Chinese company. Grohmann, the actual designer and long-term contractor lost the contract because they were underbid. No grey area to be found!
I would suggest that you think twice before repeating/posting gunstore gossip in a manner that could harm an otherwise innocent company's reputation. Rumors posted on the internet often prove to have a life of their own, long after the originator has learned the error of his ways. Best thing for you to do is concede, say you're sorry and move on. Owning up will go a long way to restoring your reputation and putting you back in the good graces of fellow CGN members.
