OK, so after all the trials and tribulations I've put myself through during this service rifle season, here's what has been determined....
The original magazines I had were put together incorreclty causing 4th round hold opens. Solved this by switching around the springs in the mags.
The recipes for WC735 which I was using did NOT work for this rifle.
A recipe of .75gr bullet with 24 - 24.2 gr RL15 will get you some awesome results.
As of today at a 300 yard shoot I was able to get about 2 MOA in a 5 round group with my AR using an Elcan in the prone.
I hummed and hawed about a lot of components when trying to figure out why I was getting such horrible results, but it turned out to be a number of factors which culminated in one big cluster ####.
I must say that I had a LOT of input from fellow CGN'ers, and I thank everyone for their input, as there always seemed to be something else I needed to check on.
But I will narrow the field to the following for helping me out the most, and getting me back in the game.
Walt from Arms East. Always ready to help me on the phone and another provider of solid advice in the way of load development for this platform.
Walt is not a bad guy for a Newf (hey I can say this as I'm originally from Nova Scotia and we always slag each other

)...
However, he never came clean on whether he could supply me with some bottled moose meat...
And of course..... TimK....
TimK is... well, TimK.....
Tons of good advice, a ton of assistance when needed, offers of parts to try to eliminate other components, ammo to try out, and he really looks hot in his "gook" hat while screaming obscenities at soldiers on his megaphone...
So, all in all, a happy camper
Thanks again for everyone's input.
