Let's see some pic's of your SxS's & O/U's

Great pic's guys thanks for posting. What do you all think if I change the original post to include O/U's too?

I consider a side by side a more "romantic" version of a double gun than an o/u but after seeing that double in another post i would have no problem looking at them too. Its great getting to look at some finely made shotguns rather than those "tactical" types.
I say go for it!

This is my only SxS.
30 year old Russian that cost $45 new.

This is a great thread. There are some very fine guns out there. I don't have photos of very many of mine, but here is a few.

Parker Brothers DH 12 gauge, 30" barrels made in 1903.

This is a L.C. Smith grade OE 20 gauge made in 1909. Sweet little thing with 26" barrels.

Here is another Elsie, a 1911 Ideal in 12 gauge with a Nydar reflective site added after 1948.

This was made around the late 1860s by W.S. Riley.

This is a sweet one, a 16 gauge with 30" fluid steel barrels by Williamson & Son, around 1880.

Here's a W.W. Greener, 12 gauge, made in 1883 if I remember right.

This is one of my favorites, an H.E. Akrill made around 1907. A self opening 12 gauge with 30" barrels, but one of the nicest handling game guns I've ever held.

Another Parker Brothers, this time a DHE 12 gauge with 34" barrels.

Great collection and nice examples of vintage shotguns. Out of curiosity, how effective is that Nydar sight?

Ok I'll start with this one only because I already have the pic.
Its a T.Adset & Son 25 1/2" bbls with a Churchill rib and a single trigger.

Very nice! Bet it sees a lot of use during Grouse season :).

SxS's

Here is my little gun its a CZ Ringneck .410 26"bbls. It is one of two "new" sxs's I own but a great little gun I use for just about everything from woodcock to phesants.

Thats a nice brace of woodcock Mike! Care to elaborate on where you got them? LOL

North of 58...those are some beutiful guns there...I am very jealous.

Ahsan, the Nydar site is surprisingly good. It takes a bit of getting used to though. If a gun was stocked higher on the comb to bring the head up it would be much easier to use.

Let's try to keep the Queen's English alive here! That's actually 4 nice brace of Woodcock.

Woolwich eh, hmmm. that's not too far from Dilly and I. :D
We usually have to head west to find 'em.
