SKS bulpup

Oops.....hope you didn`t see what I did to mine..LOL

If it`s only a Chinese SKS ,don`t really see the problem.Although I guess it`s a moot point.

But there are bullpup rifles that are not prohibited, like the Tavor.
The ergonomic portion of the design cannot be a separate "stock". It must be a mechanical part of the rifle.
It is the stock which can be a prohibited device. If the SKS upper assembly (barrel, receiver, gas and bolt units) assembled to a lower receiver in which the trigger mechanism and magazine system were integral parts, then the design would not have a bullpup stock.
The design featured in this thread won't cut it.

I have a walter G22 and we all know about that story. I would not waste your time the the law states that all after maket stocks are a prohib device.

Yes lay down and be a good citizen, don't question the law, and don't rock the boat.

Fact is it's a dumb law that was based on "scary looks" and emotion, and needs to be changed.

Also it is discriminatory, as I have met a few folks in wheelchairs that would love to be able to use a bullpup stocked rifle...one even came from Germany where it is legal there to have a bullpup stock on your rifle.

so whats illegal, the bullpulp design or the oal length?

I think it looks usefull, every rifle should be bullpulped.

PART 4

PROHIBITED DEVICES

Former Prohibited Weapons Order, No. 9

1. Any electrical or mechanical device that is designed or adapted to operate the trigger mechanism of a semi-automatic firearm for the purpose of causing the firearm to discharge cartridges in rapid succession.
2. Any rifle, shotgun or carbine stock of the type known as the “bull-pup” design, being a stock that, when combined with a firearm, reduces the overall length of the firearm such that a substantial part of the reloading action or the magazine-well is located behind the trigger of the firearm when it is held in the normal firing position.
So there for if it stays over 660mm in length & the trigger of this rilfe stock is a part of the stock does not use the old trigger group, also can not be fired without the stock, it would be legal. Just as the Tavor, Type 97, FN FS2000 & the FN P90.

Who cares about the legality , half this thread is a back and forth about it we all know already ! I have ready way to many debates about legal issues !
Regardless , that stock is effing cool and I would get one for sure if I could !

Wow I guess a Vintage Mossberg 151(a) .22 rimfire, which loads via a tube mag in that runs through the buttstock is a bullpup then... (Among many other rifles of the day).

With a muzzle break, and a bipod attached to the barrel no less...Oh wow those would be some funky barrel harmonics. :D

Wow I don't like this version! I mean seriously were is your off trigger hand supposed to go? In your pocket??? I wouldn't buy one of these even if it was legal to own. The thing I found most funny was;
Competition trigger group
