Is there a need for more Cdn made AR parts?

Thread Resurrection.
Finally got my bits into the lower, so now I can show it off completed (for now). Had a couple of problems with one of the original bits (not the lower) so my build was slightly delayed.
Here is my newest.
ATR lower

OK, real question to Rick,
I was wondering if you have a non-restricted lower in the works? maby something like the xcr lower, but also something thats compatible with my existing AR upper? OR is this even possible?

If the lower will accept an AR upper, it will still be restricted. Already went down that road a few years back trying to make a non restricted lower for my Ferret single shot 50 cal upper. Despite no mag capability, the AR bolt being too big to fit into the buffer tube and a bunch of other changes, they RCMP declared it "looks like and AR, so it it will be restricted"
so back to the drawing board.We have come up with a new lower for the Ferret as well as some of the other 50cal uppers, but until Ottawa gives us the royal nod, who knows whether it will be restricted as well
There should be a flurry of AR trigger bows for sale in the EE now
Just as an aside, the Gen 2 lowers we are running right now incorporate a few minor changes we've taken into account from feedback from customers
-> ATRS markings changed to left side of receiver
-> Chamfers on bottom outside edge of magwell are now large radii for your added gripping comfort
The skunkworks is presently engaged in R&D of several different items, but until they're ready, I'll bust out Drake from Magpul's line:
"We are not releasing any information on products that may or may not be in the works. We're always looking for new ways to improve on existing products and exploring boundaries of new ideas. Thanks."

I recently purchased a Noveske Afghan upper and it won't mate to the ATR lower. It seems as though there is too much material on the top part of the lower. I can get the pivot pin in but when I try to put the takedown pin in it won't go cause I can't get the upper and lower close enough together for the pin to go all the way through. I even tried to put the takedown pin in first then tried to put the pivot pin in to no avail. Any Ideas?

mrsmitty please let me know if you still have issues, we used numerous uppers during the design and QC time with no issue, but did not have a Noveske upper available, this is the 1st issue of an upper not fitting that we have encountered.
I am a newb as I never had problems with putting any other upper on the this lower before Just the Noveske one won't fit. I have no idea how to tighten the screw at the bottom of the receiver. Anyone have any pics or a link to someplace what could show me how its done?
