Would be nice to do a side by side comparison of all popular black rifles in a controlled bench rest type environment... at various distances.
Otherwise it just sounds like personal opinion without any fact.
In most instances I try to keep to the facts.
I've compared my colts and Sig I use for service rifle side by side with the same ammo from 100m out to 500m, shooting positions ranged from a stable bagged position to prone mag-supported, kneeling, sitting and standing.
Ammo varried and included but not limited to: IVI ball, black hills, federal, remington and winchester regular ball and match ammo. Handloads that included varriations of components that included, but not limited to: 60Vmax, 62 ss109, 68 gr hornady BTHP, 69smk, 77gr smk, 70 VLD, 75HPBT, 75LTBs
regular and match primers from federal, CCI, Winchester and Remington, and hoops of various ball and extruded powders.
This wasn't a weekend of shooting, this has spanned several years, and several thousands of rounds - and it continues.....
Anyone that says the Sig trigger is crappy - they are full of it.
Anyone that says a Sig can't run with a better-than-rack-grade AR - is full of it.
Anyone that says that an AR (even a tricked out 26" barreled varmint gun) will annihilate a Sig for accuracy (or vise versa) is full of it.
Anyone who thinks they are gaining more accuracy by adding a 26" long, 2" thick bull barrel and PRS stock to their AR are truely on the path of diminutive returns, and imho fooling themselves...Grab what you got, get some
really good ammo, and go practice
