Sawed off over and under

I fired a 16GA about the same size as pictured (in the USA, and yes it was registered there). With 100kg of body weight, a two handed death grip and aggressive stance the first shot was fine. I relaxed a little for the second shot and the forearm lifted a couple of inches out of my hand. A woman fired it one handed, only to have it land about six feet behind her. I'm in no rush to fire one in 12GA...

Wasn't there a guy here on CGN that does/did movie prop work, and did similiar pieces for movies, IIRC there was a Chuck Norris movie where he made up a similiar shorty o/u. That's going back a few years but maybe he is still around and can chime in on any details/problems/issues.

all i have to say is...what the heck for!? this is one of dumbest threads i've seen on here yet. only a moron would take a perfectly good and usefull sporting gun and turn it into a pile of garbage cause it "looks cool"!?

Quite an opinion....

PS Is the date on the prisoner weapon exhibit 1926 or 1976?

You could take a Ferrari and put a 18" lift kit and 4WD under it.

You could use a Hemi 'Cuda convertible to haul firewood out of the bush.

You could buy the Hope diamond and make a bunch of smaller diamonds out of it.

Just because somebody thinks it's a good idea, doesn't make it so.

It's their gun and if they want to butcher it so they can look badass in the mirror then let them. It's not like they are chopping down classic sxs guns to use in cowboy action shoots. ;)

Yes, but at them same time those are pieces of property. Subject to their owner's whims....

He's right though.

He wrong actually. As long as we have some gun ownership rights in Canada it falls to the owner to decide its 'use' or indeed 'usefulness'. Since I go to the range far more times a year than most people go duck hunting then how is a range gun more 'useless', if it see more rounds, more action and more fun each year?
Its only useless in someone elses eyes if they have a very limited view of the world, where all cars will be 4 cylinders, cuz we dont need 8, all guns will be a single shot 22lr, cuz we dont need more, and all men will have one nut cut off cuz we dont 'need' two.

Bring them on Canam, with the full wood though please

no the fact that there are more than 10 or more people on here saying they like it and 2 not liking it. I win :)

I do completely agree that somebody can do whatever one wants with their guns or money.

So, who will be the first to put their money where their mouth is and bring this badass gun to life?

It looks terrible. Complete waste.:puke:

I would far prefer to have it in original spec. In all honesty, what would one use that for??? Range novelty or the aformentioned hold-ups? Home defense? Hardly. Heavy recoil, muzzle blast, 2 shots, lack of shouldering fired accuracy, etc makes it less than ideal for defense or tactical use.

Couldn't agree more!

I am sure in a rush to buy another CHinese gun..... I can support communists and maybe even get a gun that works out of the box. Yay!

Who do you think makes your clothes, kitchen supplies, hunting clothes and everything else you own besides your firearms?
