I have been told that Mossberg is going to come out with a shorty O/U in the new year. I am working on getting info on it and will start a thread as soon as I get some postable info. The one my contact saw had skulls laser etched all over it that looked like tiger-stripe camo at a distance, hopefully screw in chokes and according to him was very cool.

That was more an expression of my frustration from my last few Norc/DA purchases...

I'd probably pass on it, but I can't really see how it's any sillier than spending $5000+ on a shotgun to shoot at clay discs or a few helpless ducks. To each his own.

A friends ex wife told me that years ago her father had a Browning Superposed that someone stuck in the mud while trap shooting. He ended up having it custom engraved and cut back to 12". My understanding is that it lived in his nightstand up until his death. Too bad it's prohib.....

I'd get one if they weren't to expensive or restricted.
And for those who say that it'd be useless in everyday life except at a range for fun, same argument can be said about handguns yet people don't seem to have a problem against those.

I'll second that. What about the guys with the $10000 trap guns? Not a hell of a lot of good for anything outside of trap/skeet.... Why can't we all just be happy being fellow gun owners????

Anyone how says they are afraid to shoot this in 12 guage because the recoil is bad is a whimp or hasn't shot a 12 guage before. My mom hunts with a 12 guage, my sister and sister in law all shoot 12 guage. I've shot bush guns cut down like this many times with no problem. You need to hand in your testicle license if you think his is bad recoil. I'd hate to see you ladies shoot a 50 cal

I have chopped an over & under for a customer..Barrel was Bent". made it shootable again.
what are the length of those?
overall is 27 inches, barells are 18.5 or more to ensure overal leangth is correct.

or someone snuck in a 3 inch turkey load or slug in there when they weren't looking and they thought it was a target load. 1 friend I did that to let both barrels go at the same time I fell over laughing so hard because he went WHOA! It actually pushed him backwards you could see him go backwards.
