Just wondering what everyone is looking forward to the most this coming hunting season?

We drew mulie buck tags on the prairie, and I'm really looking forward to it. My favourite hunt is either pronghorn antelope or mule deer on the bald ass Alberta prairie. We also have antlerless mulie and whitetail tags for the same area, so hopefully the freezer will be full this winter. I also enjoy hunting elk and black bear in September and October in the Rockies. Moose would also be nice, but it takes forever to draw a tag in the area that we hunt. I'll be waiting a few more years for that!

What I enjoy most though is getting out with a good buddy and hunting, something we both love. It sounds like most provinces have already had their LEH draws... what are you looking forward to the most this fall?? :)

Reeeeaaallly looking forward to waterfowling. My buddies and I are almost done our new duck blind. (8x8 with a partial roof on the backside) and I got a new semi (Rem 105CTi).
Just need ammo and we're good to go.

Other than that, would like to go moose hunting if we draw, but it's unlikely this year.
So....main focus is the birds and bowhunting for deer.

All of it. Whitetail, waterfowl, and small game. Especially small game. And turkey. I don't like turkey meat, but damn if it ain't fun calling those toms in.

got my leh for Moose starts 2 days after my birthday haha try to convince the hubby I need a new gun for my birthday then go use it on my moose tag ahhhh well see if it happens cant wait I love moose hunting mmmmm yum

2 weeks moose hunting with my little can't bang flop 270 :p, then deer (hopefully get my first with bow) and geese.

The opening day of the whitetail rifle season and the day before with all the anticipation - getting together and making a gameplan, getting out with the boys on what will hopefully be a cool crisp morning and knowing that this could be the day somebody gets their first or biggest or just has a great story to tell. Also looking forward to whitetail bow season and hunting a new property hopefully with my dad at some point.

I'm going to the N.W.T. for 10 days on a dall sheep hunt. I've been counting down the days since I booked it in January. Leave on Sept 4, can't wait!

Looking forward to opening week elk camp. also beers with buddies around the fire in the evening telling stories and lies about the days hunt. After that it is white tails at camp wainright. Never been drawn before.

Good luck to all this year.

I'm looking foward to sliding the new boat into the cattails for the first time ever. Sitting with a decent spread of decys for the first time ever. Using my new Browning on a hunt for the first time ever. It will be a season of firsts for me. :D
