What are you looking forward to this fall?

Jim Shockey and I will be guiding two fellas from Thompson Center Firearms in the Yukon for 8 days.

Then I get to hunt late season Moose with my son.

I'll be watching for ya again this year!

Guess you did alright, if he's having you back...:D Got any Yukon pics from last year?

Good Luck and good luck to your son too! (Is he still out-shooting you?:p)

Oh buddy, where to begin! This year is gonna be sweet!

- September - black bear & upland here in Ontario, and also some elk/mulie out in Alberta with my cousin.
- October - bow whitetail, turkey & upland as well as our annual duck shoot back home. We get mainly ringnecks, bluebills, buffleheads, wood ducks & a few mallards.
- November - rifle whitetail if I have any tags left ;)
- December - SG/ML whitetail if I have any tags left...then AFRICA! They say it's going to be hot as hell that time of year but I really don't care. Going after Kudu and other plains game and can't wait!

My wife will be along for most of it but she's still not sure yet about shooting a deer. She's dying to bag a turkey, though. Says they're ugly so it's ok :)

getting back in the bush with my dad. He hasn't hunted in a couple of years due to his parkinson's getting real bad. he wounded a good buck because of the shaking, and hasn't hunted since. I finally convinced him to give it another try.

Mid Sept.-----ELK.

Late Sept./Early Oct.----Moose.(Grouse hunting while scouting)(Walleye fishing is also awesome at this time and AT our Moose camp lake)

Mid Nov.----Drawn for Mule Deer in Zone 10. Can also hunt Whitetail at this time and seen some decent Whitetail bucks in Zone 10 last Fall.

Did I forget to mention I have from Sept.15 to Oct.16 Off from work....aren't Fall holidays the BEST>?

Hats off to you guy and all the best of success for your Dad this fall:).

I got a goat draw for the first time, near invermere. I got a week off work (perks of working in a hunting store) and two of my good buddies are coming along. I cant wait. Hopefully find a big mulie for the boys while we are out there!
