Swiss Arms addicts sound off

There are no others to my knowledge. And Versa-Pods are OEM with the 551 SWAT and some other models.

....O.K.

I'm sorry to be the one breaking this to you, but there may be a vast many things you are not aware of in this world, SAN manufactured bipods included:rolleyes:
OEM, or 'Original Equipment Manufacturer' would indicate SAN produced - Not 'Versa-pod'. :kickInTheNuts:

....back to 'Otokiak' or any others looking for a replacement bipod without needing a rail, check out page 18 of the Swiss Arms catalog...
Below are the part numbers:

2-Bein Stütze, verstellbar für SG 550 / PE 90
grün 34 557 011 225,–
schwarz 34 557 012 225,–

beltfed, thanks I'll google that for sure. I kinda like that look of that Parker Hale one ... I also have a sweet GG&G bi-pod ... but it needs to attach to a picatinny type rail. My Sig .223 is definately a keeper ... LOVE THIS RIFLE ... :D

Where would one find the Parker Hale type bi-pod pictured?

Not sure - but the $249 bipod I ordered has the SAN logo on it and is supposed to be much sturdier. When I get it later next week I will post pictures so you can keep it under consideration.

Good luck with your search Otakiak :)

So I got my Classic Green a week ago. Played with it a little, put my aimpoint on it. Built like a tank, nice gun. ok gun. I've had too many to be impressed thus far.

Took her out back today and holy f*ck.. I have had a lot of guns, used a lot of different service rifles in the military, and I've never had something that wanted to go like this. It "fits" me. 100, 200, 300, 400... ding, ding, ding.. I took the aimpoint off because the Irons are more accurate than it is.

I love this thing, it's the tool I've spent years looking for. Now I just need a SAN CQB... I see a lot of liquidating going on.

I hear you there.

My CQB is inbound, and a Carbine in the locker as is. Its my favorite by a long shot.

love my CQB!!!!!!!! it turns heads at the range, and can out shoot ar's all day long

Shooting do you mean by parking your butt setting the rifle on a bench and pulling the trigger. When I get my transfer to the island I will put you through a few course fire and movement, then we will see what out shoots what. Or who I might add. Remember it not the firearm it the man behind it.

It's funny when AR guys get a little pissy in the Swiss Arms threads :nest:

Holy "next episode on 'Dude, you impugned my manhood'" Batman!

Just a note on getting along with others Dune. You CAN call BS on jeepcjaholic without inferring nonsense about how he parks his butt all day when shooting as opposed to some vague, unspecified yet apparently manlier version of shooting.

It leaves everyone confused.

Why not just tell him 'you'll race him for pink slips' on any venue of his choice and be done with it. I'm sure that you'd find volunteers at pretty much any range in Canada to spectate and referee that. I'm a big SAN fan, and I don't buy that a CQB will outshoot a 14.5" or 16" barreled AR. I would like to see someone try though.

Anyway, its cool. We have all missed that one some times. (All except Hungry I think)

But don't bugger up an otherwise good thread. Its not a novelty thing here to have someone play the 'you don't know who I am" card on CGN, and frankly most of us are tired of it.

Some oldies...!

I'm a bit jealous on that flat top long barrel.

It is absent from my collection. For the time being anyway. I think that is the nicest way to display a Swiss Arms collection as well. Without modification as if freshly pulled from factory packaging.

Seriously nice collection GT. Don't tell us you sold some of it...
