firing pin is normal . i think you need to see if the hammer is striking the firing pin when the firing pin is in the forward position or is there something preventing the hammer from doing so . make sure the bolt is in the lock position, hammer forward, is there any movement with the firing pin ?
That's what i thought about the firing pin. What is the lock position? Does that mean having the bolt all the way forward and then pull the trigger letting the hammer hit the firing pin and then checking to see if the pin has any movement in it? How do you check for pin movement? shake the rifle?
