Looking for a free float rail for a bushmaster 16" hbar...whats recommonded I'm just concerned with proper length to the front sight in the factory configuration. Are rails measured from the delta ring or including the delta ring?

FWIW:
The Daniel Defense Omega rail is becoming very popular down here in the US.
It's a very slim and lightwieght free-float rail that is easy to install with just a hex key and a screwdriver. We have two of the midlength Omegas at our house. There is quite a bit of info on the Omegas at m4carbine . net and at least 2 reviews on the Brownell's site , if anyone would like more info.
Hope this helps.

Daniel Defense Omega Rails

I have two and couldn't be happier! They do not require the removal of your existing D-ring and FSB front sight but still provide a non-disrupted top rail should you choose to mount something between the upper rail and quad rail. Very vesatile.

My $.02
