Very nice! About what I paid for my AR (pre optics and trigger) for competing.
50,000 rounds of #7, wow, sounds like a s**tload of shootin'!! LOL
Canucklehead, my bad, for some reason I thought he was talking HP9... duh.. You can omit my HP9 picture on the previous pages.. LOL
The short pumps do have some practical applications. My "tacticool" 870 is often used on the farm for nuisance animals and if the light is removed and a magazine plug added it's a fine gun for the shotgun-only deer season in Ontario.I do not get why everyone wants a "tacticool" shotgun though.. What's the point unless you plan to work / use / train with it.
#7? I shoot only 8's Where do you get 7's ?

Of the various Chinese guns the HP9 isn't a bad choice if you want a 14" barrel. Having looked at many of them and seen some that were okay and others that were awful I definitely wouldn't buy one sight unseen.
I agree. Mine was built for the purpose and the only accessories are ones that were tested and shown to improve performance. So no lasers, bayonet lugs, heat shields, rails, pistol grips or other crap. It does have better sights, an easily removable light mount, side-saddle, Vang safety, sling and a full-size Hogue overmolded stock. While I have a 14" barrel I don't use it often preferring the 20" instead.I have a Rem 870 with a 12.5 inch barrel, mesa stock blah blah blah.. And it IS handy for critters to be sure. But the reason it's built that way is for training with it, not just "because" I want the toys and pretty lights.. LOL

The shorter barrels do swing like bricks. I've shot my 14" 870 at skeet just to what it was like and it swung very poorly.I can't understand the value of a 12.5 in barrel. If you are using it for hunting or Clay games it would swing like a a brick. Is it a look in the mirror cool factor? To me the only good pump guns were the Model 12 Winchester and the Model 31 Remington. And you guys drool over a Chinese knockoff??
Please explain.

Heyyyy.... I represent that remark. LOL!
I see your point though. Kind of like people who wast money on chrome bits for their Harley Davidson motorcycles when it does nothing to improve performance and usually decreases cornering clearance.
Do you have any pics of this? I'd be very interested in knowing specifically what broke and how it happened. When you say "slide" do you mean the action bars?![]()

Thanks. Odd place for a breakage but stuff happens and not just with Norincos.I mean the slide block, I dont have a picture of mine handy, but here is a pic I nabbed off google to clarify, the bottom forward part of mine broke off on both sides (the thin part at the bottom of the fat end)

just went to the range with my newly acquired HP9 on the weekend, and i love it!
question: is one supposed to get a sore-ish shoulder after firing only about 10 slug rounds?
