Swiss Arms in pictures - for newbies who want to look under the hood

... it appears that maybe he's a little sensitive because the Swiss can do more with stamped steel than he can. It's amazing how inferior materials and production can create a superior firearm.

Perhaps the master has more to learn.

ALL HAIL THE STAMPED GUN GOD!!!!

As a noob observer, this forum seems pretty neutral...MUCH LIKE SWITZERLAND!!

50calshooter,

You just don't quit do you?
Get some more experience and come back. Then those who know better won't have to waste their time trying to talk some sense into you.

Forge this, stamp that, man you know it all don't you? Now get some trigger time with the weapons and real world use and come back. Then you won't waste our time any longer.

It's amazing to watch these threads degenerate into playground antics.

I'm going to have to start a new thread just to have a 20% chance of having my original question answered!!!

Yes, it happens often around here, most is taken to seriously, some is said to seriously, I tried to raise a point about one issue, and got jumped all over by the "pros". Maby I came off sounding a little too arrogant, and maby I could have approached my concerns in a different way... I guess, sometimes the way you type something on the Internet, unfortunately doesn't appear the way you intended...... but please continue, ask away and as long as everybody including me, drops the bs... we can continue...

Nice to look at but has the ergonomics of a 2x4

You find? The only complaint I have about mine is that my grizzly paw doesn't fit the pistol grip all that well. A little fuller would make it perfect. As it stands, I'm glad I went with it over one of the other non-restricted Black platforms.

3/4's of this forum are couch potatoes that learned everything they know from the Discovery channel. So yes, you're probably right.

Have you ever used your AR as it was designed? Ever used any other service rifle as it was designed? The pattern with many Swiss Arms advocates is that many have experience with more than your paper-punching range trophies. There are people with the experience and exposure to appreciate a truly well built tool.

That being said, if you offered anyone that relies on their tools to save their lives I guarantee you that most of them would leave the AR's in the dumpster where they belong and opt for something reliable because "almost reliable" or "mostly reliable" means sh*t. And best of "what's available" is hardly best.

You know where the extra $$ goes towards in a SAN rifle? In knowing that it'll always work... always, and always put the bullet where the meat is. Even if some claim it's a stamped, overpriced, over rated rifle.

..After all I'll take "always" over "almost" any day.

You AR models are more sensitive than those poor GLOCK-a-holics.

:jerkit:

I bet a fair amount learned much of their info from Counterstrike. Yesterday at the range I was shooting my newly put together AR 15 in 9mm, new non res CX4 storm in 9mm, Glock 20 and Glock 17. And as I was leaving a fellow shooter who was with a group of 3 other guys asked me how I shot. I told him the truth not good with my two pistols. He went on to say "me either I shot the hostage" I never said nothing to him after that, but I had to contain myself until I got to my car and then I erupted into laughter. Funniest thing I have ever heard at the range.

Is that rust I see in the lower of that rifle, soldier? Reassemble that weapon and
mail it to me. I'll take care of that rust...damn steel stamping! It will also look good
next to my Black Special. While you children are arguing about the merits of forged
aluminum vs steel stamping, no one noticed the rust!
Love my Black Special. Never a problem and shoots whatever you feed it...accurately!
