Add frozen pork chops and steaks, eat them as they thaw(eat the pork quick, the beef just ages), canned potatoes(they're surprisingly good), Bacon, can't believe no one mentioned bacon,(bacon counts as a vegetable when hunting) and eggs, lot's of eggs. Boil some, throw a couple in your pack and there's lunch. Raw eggs will keep for a long time. Leftover bacon, add it to the beans. Frozen hotdogs, they're good for at least a week, maybe a year. Add the leftovers to the beans.(seeing a pattern here?)
Some canned meatball or irish stew. Somewhat nasty, but edible, and quick if you're tired. A canned ham is a nice mid hunt treat, and don't discount good ol' spam type stuff. Fry it up, add beans, you're good to go.
Munchies. If there's a "bulk barn" close, make your own. Nuts, dried fruit, good card playing snack, will do if you're hungry. Definitely onions, dill, paprika, and ketchup(adds flavor to the beans)
I'm also taking a couple cups of flour as I plan on having moose liver and onions(fingers crossed)
And ya, if you're taking 1 bottle of rye you may run short. Medicinal, ya know.
