There'll be never enough ARs I guess........

Interesting.

I wonder if the gas system is similar to or based off of the 550 series, or if its just your average short stroke conversion type deal (like most of the new ones)

Not at this time, 5.56mm barrels.

This is just not another AR. The lead designer developed the HK416. Apparently he corrected all of his mistakes when he was head-hunted and hired by Sig Sauer USA to work on this gun.

I'm very interested in this one as apparently it has a suppressor setting for firing with with a can full time.

It may be the best piston driven AR produced to date.

I'm not sure I'd want a long stroke AR, more weight and harsher recoil impulses... it could be interesting to see how this one shakes out.

At shot the general consensus of buyers is that the AR market is way over saturated. A lot of companies were writing fewer orders then last year. It may be difficult to get over the bad timing of its introduction. Especially now that the SCAR and botched ACR are entering the US market with actual fully engineered from the ground up piston platforms, extruded uppers etc.

I don't believe that the SCAR (now dropped by SOCOM for the most part) or the ACR have a suppressor setting. I kind of like the ACR but think that most any other modern rifle is better.

For the special gunfighters it's all about suppressors now.
