9 mm Ammo shortage

There's a long thread about Combat and Wolf ammo and I won't go into details about that thread...

As for me, both ignored my emails. And I don't have the luxury to call from work and have everyone hear me in the office talking about buying crates of ammo. Nor do I wish to chase after them countless times to take my money with my cell phone in the parking lot. They lost my business and someone else will take my money and they respond to me eventhough they don't have stuff in stock right now. When they do, I will buy buy buy. I'm on my way to rolling my own.

Is it cheaper to reload 9mm? It cost $22 for 50 here in NB. Is there a cheaper place to buy it?

I have seen it 50rds at $17+tax in NB...or 500rds for $170+ tax (14%)

that is too expensive.
St Martins is close enough to Riverview if you care to make the drive. IN the early spring I will have Canadian BDX/ Combat masters ammunition in stock for sale.

What's best with this guy, email or phone (or a barrage of both)?

I just emailed him. It worked for me, but some people say different.

You could try SFRC (see link above in sponsor areas), they carry wolf products and they email back quick. Very good comms with them. They are a bit pricier than buying direct, but the bonus is you don't have to buy in 1000 lots.

Cheers!

The commercial guys are suffering shortages of components too - if you think it's tough finding 1,000 small pistol primers, try finding 100,000. Same with bullets, etc I heard a rumour the other day that Federal hopes to resume shipping primers to Canada (halted due to shortages in the US) in 2 YEARS. Get used to it.

You know I read this post and thought heck....

I am certain I have a spare set of 9mm dies in my room and thousands of cases.

Went back to find them to make sure that I had them before I offered them.

Sadly............before putting forth the offer I found the thread in which you indicate your support of the LIBERAL party.

I guess I do need that spare die set after all..........you never know when you will need one and all that.

Sarcastic SOB Mod:rolleyes:

You know your tactic will fail in the long run. It's to bad you are so limited you sound so good on T.V.:(

Ok, I'll take back what I said, I went to the local hunting store to buy 4 boxes of Rem UMC 9mm 115GR they have for $13.95 (my wallet doesn't allow me to pay higher than that)... well they had, they don't have anymore, some dude like me decided to buy a few boxes. Looks like the 9mm shortage FINALLY hit Quebec City and will stay for a heck of a long time, damn.
I'll have to get into reloading, yeah, that stuff isn't cheap either. :( OH well, we'll see,.

Being a very caring and giving person (as should be obvious from my original intentions in this instance) I thought that I should save anyone else with similar giving motives the benefit of my experience. It was really just happenstance that I had logged off and upon logging in checked on that post and had a glimpse into shall we say "the real you".

Not everyone would have the gods smile upon them like me..............

Just keeping up the tradition that "Storm is a swell guy" image and all that.

Storm is CGN's big jerk.

And we like him. :D

Outstanding! :D

I have 2000 AE 9mm 115gr (unopened cases) to let go for $275 per case if you can find a way to pick them up in BC (or ship).

Let's face it, the only reason people bought anything chambered for the 9x19 is because buying a 9x19 pistol ammunition was so cheap and you didn't need to pick up the brass.

Now you can buy any caliber because everything is expensive and you have to reload :D

I'd be pissed if I had to reload 9mm.

$199 for 1000rnds of 9mm doesn't seem like it was that long ago... a damn shame.
