Anyone lookin for a new Swiss Arms CQB upper?

Why will you want an upper- which is a firearm itself already.

If you want to buy an upper- may as well buy the entire rifle because you still have to get a separate certificate for it.

You don't need a registration certificate for an upper by itself do you?

If I had a SG556 lower I would want that upper.

Anyone who buys that at that price is stupid! You can get a barely used complete one for that price and then sell the lower if you wanted to just have the registered upper for your own lower.

a sig upper is the registered part, unlike and AR.

So by this I gather that the Sig lower is NOT the registered part? And I guess no one has figured out how to mate the sig lower (non registered part) with an AR upper (again a non registered part)? Not sure of the sig systems but...

apples and oranges... look at an AR, and then look at the detail pics posted here of the SIG.

Too many differences to list, here's two. They will not mate together at all and a AR upper needs a buffer and spring in the buttstock, neither exist in Swiss lower.

O.K. .... seen many pics of the two. Is this something the a machinist could overcome? Not sure, but where there is a will there is a way. Maybe not though, perhaps it is just too far out there.

Could a piece not be "created" so they will mate together? And does an AR with the 22 conversion kit still use the buffer and spring or is that action taken care of in the pieces of the kit? Just curious.
