I've seen complete Swiss for about 2600-2800 lately.
Why will you want an upper- which is a firearm itself already.
If you want to buy an upper- may as well buy the entire rifle because you still have to get a separate certificate for it.

If I had a SG556 lower I would want that upper.
a sig upper is the registered part, unlike and AR.
So by this I gather that the Sig lower is NOT the registered part? And I guess no one has figured out how to mate the sig lower (non registered part) with an AR upper (again a non registered part)? Not sure of the sig systems but...

apples and oranges... look at an AR, and then look at the detail pics posted here of the SIG.
Too many differences to list, here's two. They will not mate together at all and a AR upper needs a buffer and spring in the buttstock, neither exist in Swiss lower.
