I should get a job there...A relax environement, no stress, do what you can but no rush kinda work!
 
An update here. I just got the transfer notification. It is dated "Received September 30 2009" and date processed "October 9 2009"

Not bad. My first and my second AR's at the same time! 9 days. : )

Really? If you look at it this way, lets say I had your AR. And I said you have 2 options;

Option #1: You wait nine days while I dangle the AR in front of your face.

Option #2: I give you one punch to the mouth and its yours.


Dunno about you, but I'd take the punch! :dancingbanana:
 
Hmmmm... If it was wait ages for my new toy or get punched in the face..... As long as it wasn't in the nose I believe you'd have yourself a deal.

I certainly hope not. Glad it makes the politicians feel all fuzzy that they're slowing things down for no reason. As far as I'm concerned once you have one restricted firearm, the transfer process from that point should be exactly the same as non-restricted. I walk into the store, walk out with my new gun. And while we're at it, I should be able to then take it to the range and shoot it, not have to go home, then to the range. That is stupid.
 
Can you think of better deterrants? Long wait times, increasing ammo costs, more hassles. They're not taking our guns away but they are stripping us of the fun of this activity.
