I had so much fun Antelope hunting last year that I put in for the non trophy tags in an area 130 miles south of my ranch. We pulled our trailer down south of Hanna and with the wife spotting and after some cold nights and days cooped up with -15 temps and 30km winds we found a suitable dry doe and a 140 gr SST from my 6.5-06 did the trick a bit over 200 yards. We had a great hunt good food and experience some typical prairie weather and wildlife. the trailer froze up and I blew a tire, but overall a great to start off my hunting season.
The Kimber actioned 6.5-06 which is fast becoming my favourite open country rifle. RickF was the brains behind its inception
