Let's make a concerted effort to get pics, shall we?

Since last fall hunting and also just scouting with the kids.

Still loading this years pics....

Interesting, cause I'm the photo bandit and I take pics all over the places with varied success.
I will tell you though, if I shot it I'm taking a pic!
Almost all of the game I've shot in my relatively short hunting career has been photographed.
I bought a digital camera when they first came out and never looked back.
Look at my last post on goat hunting as an indication.
A picture tells a thousand words.
There are about another 10 pics that didn't make the post.
That said, if you take a picture there can't be any fishing story methods -"the antlers were THAT big........" :D

DuffyAnd there are some odd pics as well. Who wants to see a pic of a gun leaning up against a truck? Or a truck and camper? Or a close up of a bunch of gear on a quad?

Or to turn it around, who needs to see a pic of the checkerboy kid with the nastiest looking closeline of geese and a riflesling cutting off circulation to the brain. Seriously, I just do not know where your posts come from sometimes Duff:kickInTheNuts:

Noel: the quality if your Photos is simply outstanding, and I always relish your posts as there is always something new to see, other than kill shots, this is something I am starting to do more, take images of the whole experience, not just the kill.

Why not: You are the standard by which all us younger Gunnutz can only hope to attain, I hope to follow in your footsteps on the hunting trails, great moose and tent scene.

Wow, I don't know what to say. Thanks!;)
You hit the nail on the head there too, there is more than just the kill shot, there's that cold morning sunrise that finally breaks those shivers you got from sitting in that cold moss when you're pinned down by the band of rams {right Davey:D}, and there's the challenge of getting that pic taken just right to reflect that when you look at it again years down the road.

There's a pile of great pics here from everyone and I hope there are many more to get posted. I know one guy who has a bunch more to post if the masses can stand them.

Here's a couple that I took in the Lynx Creek area of SW Alberta last Saturday. Some areas are very barren from the damage of the fires in 2003. No luck hunting, but it's always nice to get out to the mountains, even if the weather isn't very nice.
