Let's make a concerted effort to get pics, shall we?

A few more from the past couple weeks..

I need to get a better camera. Taken off my phone on another field shoot for Canadas'. Took another limit. I am finally figuring out how to cook a tough bird and the wife loves it.

You must have damn smart fish there, having to wear camo to catch em.... :D

Yes we like to be able to sneak up on them so we can just place the bait right in front of their noses. If you look closely you will see my buddy is wearing his slippers too! Much stealthier approach that way, there is just no more challenge to casting any more!:kickInTheNuts:

I have gotten into the habit of taking my camera. Bought a nice one this year. Takes great pics. I have more pics at home but here is one of my hunting buddy trying to stay warm on the last day of bear season.

I'll make sure to upload the odd one here and there, I have lots of great hunting pics.

That's quite a small hunting dog you've got there NWO... whatsit?

Also, I like your avatar. It looks like a trio of Wild Roses... Alberta's Provincial Icon!

Bagged my first Canada Goose ever

From the looks of these pics I need some decoys, this was way too much work for one bird (probably a 150 yard belly crawl on the opposite side of a ditch to get in shooting range).

No tag to say yay or nay for the blanket. It was my Gramma's that she used in Hinton in the early 40's, who knows how long she had it before that but it finished the pack off perfect.

As to the Leica, I'll have to get some guidance with that one next time we meet.

Hey Noel,

If there are a number of short black bars, maybe 3-4" long, along one edge, it is a HBC blanket. I used to have a huge one, must have weighed 10lbs easy. Disappeared somewhere along the way.

Here are a couple of pics of antelope that I did not take with my bow this year.

And some from earlier this year.

Not true, there were many companies that made four point blankets not just HBC. I have three different makes at home right now and all have the four stripes.

No need to derail the thread though, PM me if you want to continue this conversation.
