A bunch of guys asked about the quad rail I've got on. It's a modified B&T quad rail for the SIG Carbine. It's bolted to the front of the receiver behind the chamber. The top rail slides on and is held in place with a set screw to a small divot milled into the front gas block. Total repeatable zero.. for nearly the cost of the rifle itself... I love that it's got some length, it lets me get a real nice point with the fore end.

And purely for aesthetics, my little cousin gave me a fake airsoft can that threads right on the barrel nicely, even more so when installed "over" the barrel as a shroud. It weighs nothing and doesn't affect the front end. Nothing like the quad rail behind it anyways.

I'm a big fan of heavy rifles. The balance is nice for me.

Thats a pretty slick rig. Any chance of getting close up pictures on how you modded the quad rail to fit. First time I've ever seen this and my first reaction was "thats a pretty good idea".

Thoes are my favoret as well, But I'd open the front sight and chop the trigger guard.

Any one remeber who did the ###y charging handle mod? ( Not the thumb buster, the AK kinda one)

And what is every one using for mag pouches/ chest rigs?
 
i know. nice proportion, clean and just plan nice . looks like something within the last decade from Germany ... almost

Incidentally what would be involved in recreating that gun? I guess a shorty barrel which would probably have a larger gas port already, and whatever that stock is, if that's important to you, and a pair of FAB handguards...

Hmm, what's the shorty barrel situation looking like?

did Marstar not get in a bunch of short ones ? i remember seeing something a while back when their new lot came in
