No price change here and 200 bucks and there is a no shortage of supply either. According to local stock (two locations), there is enough to supply demand for a "long long time" and more to be had when that runs out.

Aren't we supposed to be fear mongering over some kind of chicken flu or something not ammunition?

Remember where you are.
Around here (Southern Ontario) you will have 25 guys show up and buy 10 cases each in one day.

I'm getting a few things taken care of and next week I would like to pick up 5 cases myself.... we will see....

However I would note that their claim that there is plenty more is far from accurate....

We supplied almost all of what you see on the market at this time, we do NOT have plrenty more....

Perhaps they know something we don't ???????????

Uh here's a question, will it be rifles only, or the kits(oil bottles, slings ect.) be included?

If Ontario runs out over the new year into spring......I will have to pay $80+ for someone to ship a case from out west. And I bet they will have raised the price by then knowing we are out!

Buy soon....or it will cost a fortune.

Advice taken John. One thing to consider is that the population of Manitoba is 1/10th of that in Ontario which is going to make the market here much smaller. Also, I didn't realize you are the source of all the Seller & Bellot surplus! Anyway I can convince you to import the SP version next time around?

I guess eventually the market will dry up and people will start selling their private stuff in order to make some profit. Does it really matter if it's $160 or $200/case? There were some dealers at the gun show in Salmon Arm today and all were asking $200/case. No tax at gun shows, so that would have been a chance to get it a bit cheaper. But honestly, I can`t see myself shooting that much in surplus with the SKS and CZ. Those rifles are not that accurate. Maybe the CZ, but then I have to start reloading.

when that happens you should have your great grandkids tell you what its like with no 7.62x39 when you are too old andfeeble to hold an SKS anymore.:jerkit:

I agree that prices are really good at this time....

You won't see any changes until the larger buyers call up asking for another truck load or container load, only to be told "sorry none available"

Then and only then will you sse prices change in a hurry....

There will always be 7.62x39 ammunition, new commercial etc.... What I am trying to say is we will slowly see cheap surplus go the way of .303, .30 M1, .30-06, 8mm....
Remember when we sold .303 for $149./M ?

Are they still making and storing 762x39mm like they did before?
I mean .303 isn't really being used anymore like the 762sov and while 1970s surplus may disappear, 30 years down the road surplus from 2000 might hit the market?
 
remember that the cold war was the largest arms build up in history and it wont likely repeat itself, so I doubt 762x39 will ever be produced or stockpiled again in those numbers.
